Big Brothers of Yuma emphasizes the development and implementation of programs and services which focus on improving the lives of "Children of Promise" in Yuma County.

Description of Program: This Program is based on the training and the teachings of Youth and Future Leaders. Through mentoring, program participants are shown that they have the skills, responsibility and integrity needed for leadership and self initiative. The youth are given the opportunity to express their pride in their goals and in their community. Mentors also teach the skills necessary to perform and maintain an interest in a career in law enforcement.
